Introduction

Nigel offers IQA work on ad hoc basis if required, signing off portfolios or gas paperwork, checking quality procedures and training for staff.

Nigel has been working as a head of department undertaking IQA work since 2017, with awarding bodies EV’s and staff maintaining quality procedures.

• Some of his duties included observing staff and assessing risk levels.
• Arranging staff CPD and standardization meetings.
• Developing course overviews and IQA verification planning matrix’s.
• Interim and summative sampling.
• Claiming learners.
• Dealing with learner issues and safe guarding.
• Working with managers and delivery staff with day to day issues.
• Developing teaching resources.
